Solset Miami is more than an event — it's a living ritual. Golden-hour gatherings that merge the magic of nature's light with Miami's creative, wellness-driven community.

They came to Island Theory with a clear soul and a clear vision: create a brand system that captures the feeling of sunset — the warmth, the stillness, the sense that something sacred is happening — while staying modern, elevated, and commercially compelling.

Our job was to translate that feeling into a complete visual identity: a logo system, color palette, typography stack, and brand guidelines that give Solset the tools to show up with intention across every touchpoint.

The Solset wordmark pairs a bold, stylized serif — conveying sophistication and warmth — with a freeform handwritten "miami" script that gives the brand its human, grounded touch. Above it, a minimalist sunburst icon: a dotted semicircle representing solar descent, surrounded by radiating lines that evoke expansion, light, and collective energy.

What We Built

every element,

Brand Essence & Story
Defined the complete brand narrative — essence, mission, vision, personality archetype, core values framework, and the "The Light Within" positioning — giving Solset a soul to match its aesthetic.
Primary Logo System
Designed the full Solset Miami primary wordmark with the iconic sunburst mark — a dotted semicircle and radiating geometric rays — across multiple color and orientation configurations.
Secondary & Icon Mark
Developed the stacked secondary logo — sunburst above "Solset" — for vertical/square formats, plus a standalone sunburst icon for use across social profiles, merch, and branded moments.
Sunset Color Palette
Built the four-color "Sunset Tones" palette — Tropic Clay, Golden Drift, Sunlit Nectar, and Palm Trunk — plus an extended palette system at 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% opacity for full design flexibility.
Typography System
Selected and documented the three-typeface system: Safira March for display, Poppins for body copy, and Moontime as the handwritten accent — each chosen to reinforce the brand's spiritual warmth and modern elegance.
Brand Book
Delivered a comprehensive Solset Miami Brand Book covering identity guidelines, logo usage rules, color applications, typography hierarchy, photography direction, and voice and tone — the complete source of truth.
